The Will of Ann Honeysett,
widow of Sandhurst

This is the last Will & Testament of me Ann Hunnisett of Sandhurst in the County of Kent widow made the fifth day of October one thousand eight hundred & fourteen

First I will & direct that all my just Debts Funeral Expenses & Charges of proving this my will be in the first place fully paid & certified I give & bequeath unto my three Dau(ghter)s Elizabeth the wife of George Smith & Philadelphia the wife of William Hicks & Alice the wife of John Mann my wearing apparel of all Sorts the same to be allotted by some indifferent person as soon as convenient after my decease when so allotted they are to draw lots for & receive the said apparel

also I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law Peter Pope of Hawkhurst in the County of Kent Butcher & my Son Henry Hunnisett their heirs adm(inistrat)ors & assigns all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Household Goods Implements of Household Plate Linen China Goods Chattels Debts Effects & Personal Estate whatsoever & wheresoever situate lying & being to hold to them the said Peter Pope & Henry Hunnisett their Ex(ecut)ors, Adm(inistrat)ors & Assigns upon trust that they the said Peter Pope & Henry Hunnisett, the Survivor of them, the Ex(ecut)ors & Adm(inistrat)ors of such Survivor shall & do as soon as conveniently can be done after my decease call in or dispose of the same & call in & receive all such Debts Sum & Sums of Money as shall be owing to me at the time of my decease & upon further trust that they my said Trustees, the Survivor of them or the Ex(ecut)ors & Adm(inistrat)ors of such Survivor shall & do in the next place divide the same into eight equal parts & shares & pay to the said Peter Pope to & for the use of all such children as he shall have living at the time of my death by his late wife Ann one eighth part or share thereof in equal shares & proportions to whom I do hereby give & bequeath the same accordingly to be equally divided between them within four months next after my decease unto My Son Benjamin Hunnisett, my said dau(ghte)r Elizabeth Smith, my sons Henry Hunnisett William Hunnisett & David Hunnisett, my other dau(ghte)r Alice Mann each one other eighth part or share thereof to whom I give & bequeath the same accordingly to be paid to each of them within four Months next after my decease & the remainder Eighth part or share thereof I do hereby order & direct my said Trustees or the children of them or the Ex(ecut)ors or Adm(inistrat)ors of such Survivor to pay into the proper hands of my said dau(ghte)r Philadelphia Hicks within four Months next after my decease exclusive of the said William Hicks who is not to intermeddle therewith it being my will & meaning that the same shall not be subject to his debts contracts or engagements And I do hereby direct that her script? alone? notwithstanding her Co…………… as if she were sole? & unmarried for the same shall be a full & sufficient discharge to my said Trustees or Trustee for the same it being my intention that the said William Hicks shall have or receive no benefit by virtue of this my will And I do make nominate constitute & appoint the said Peter Pope & Henry Hunnisett Exe(cuto)rs of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking & making void all & every other will or wills by me at any time heretofore made & do declare this to be my last Will & Testament I(n) witness whereof I the said Ann Hunnisett the Testatrix have to this my last Will & Testament contained in two sheets of paper set my Hand & Seal to wit my hand to the first sheet thereof & my Hand & Seal to this the second & last sheet of the day & year first above written

Proved at London 28th March 1816 before this Judge by the Oaths of Peter Pope & Henry Honeysett (in the will written Hunnisett) the Son the ex(ecut)ors to whom Adm(inistrati)on was granted being first sworn by C------- duly to adm(iniste)r.
