Charles Frederick Honisett (1848-1926)
Charles was a builder in Herstmonceux and is pictured here with his wife, Mary Jane (nee Friend, 1853-1946) who was his second cousin once removed. Her mother, behind them in the photo and always known as 'grandma Sands' was the daughter of Caroline Honeysett and her first husband, William Goble. Also in the photograph are six of their daughters and a young man who is probably William Carn. He married their eldest daughter, Alice, in 1898 which perhaps dates this photograph.
