David Honeysett (1705 - 1776?)
of Herstmonceux, Sussex

David, a son of David and Elizabeth, was baptised in Hailsham on 10 June 1705 and brought up in Dallington. He married Ann Hussell in Warbleton on 18 July 1729.  Their known children's baptisms are:

Sarah 14 Dec 1729 Warbleton
John 30 Nov 1731 Herstmonceux
Mary 24 Sep 1734 Herstmonceux

In 1733 his aunt Mary (his father's sister) left him 30 shillings, and 5 shillings each to his two children 'to buy them bibles'.

David may have been buried in Warbleton on 14 January 1776. A 'widow Hunnesett', possibly Ann, was buried there on 26 December 1789

Of their children:

  • John married Mary Harmer and lived in Herstmonceux.
